If you go into my room you’ll find stacks upon stacks of fashion magazines.

Each with folded down corners. Each month I pick out my favorite outfits, favorite ads, and favorite tips and promise myself that I’ll buy myself a huge bulletin board, rip all those pages out, and pin them up.

As great as this idea sounds, I just can’t bring myself to actually buy that board. After months of looking at this huge stack, and coming to the realization that I would never make a fashion board, I decided I had to throw them away. My room was starting to look like an episode of Hoarders.

This Weekly Favorite comes from Rich World Problems. I picked this one because I can relate.

I think everyone has had that “oops” moment when it comes to song lyrics. Once in high school, a friend of mine started dancing to Snoop Dogs Drop It Like It’s Hot. She was doing this odd dance move where she was walking and had one hand out in front of her like she was pushing a vacuum. After laughing at her for a while we asked why she was doing that.

“I’m just dancing to the lyrics. Walkin’ the dog, walkin’ the dog.”

Who is Michael Hofer? So much mystery behind the name. Lucky for you, I have all the deets.

Michael once wore a shirt that said, “tweets are for birds.” I admired him for this shirt, but sure enough Michael does have twitter now, so you can follow him (which I recommend).

Michael and I have our differences, he comes from Michigan, I spent some years in Ohio. Luckily for both of us, we value our friendship much more than the hatred between our two states.

Once Michael and I were being very quiet. Someone pointed at us and said, “Kill the quiet ones first.” I’m not going to share any more about this story…*
